NSCAA Club Assessment: MVSA Evaluation SummaryNSCAA Club Assessment: MVSA Evaluation Summary - Saturday, January 31, 2015
"At the request of Middle Valley Soccer Academy, a comprehensive assessment was conducted in December 2014. I found this growing organization to be one of the best model Clubs I have ever evaluated. I had the opportunity to speak to and observe players, parents, coaches, and administrators from all aspects of the Club, and found a basic, but universal understanding that progressive and age/ability appropriate instruction was the path to success. Spending time with this Club was like taking a breath of fresh air, and observing their operations gave me a new hope for the future of soccer in Chattanooga. They have a consistent "Player Development comes first" philosophy throughout their entire organization and for all ages of the overall program. I strongly encouraged the leadership to continue maintaining a club and player centric approach to all developmental priorities. I look forward to returning in July 2015 to spend a week devoted to advanced player and coach education." Gary Hindley, NSCAA Associate Staff Coach- Region V

Mission Statement

Middle Valley Soccer Academy teams are formed and organized to provide an opportunity for boys and girls of our area, to develop their skills to the greatest degree possible. Our mission is to deliver a program that instills a passionate love for the game of soccer by applying methods which educate, excite, and challenge each player to reach their full potential. MVSA focuses on developing the individual player by encouraging a strong work ethic, good sportsmanship and physical fitness while teaching life lessons through the game of soccer. The program provides excellence in training by utilizing player-centered curriculum and creating an environment that promotes learning over winning and honors effort over achievement.

TOPSoccer

TOPSoccer is an outreach program who’s purpose is to introduce youth and young adults who are physically and/or mentally challenged to the game of soccer. TOPSoccer participants include, but are not limited to, persons with cerebral palsy, autism, downs syndrome, hearing impaired, amputees, or wheelchair users.
